Frame Choice

Frame - The frame that fits Kids, Women and Smaller Faces the best is our S Rat II or Standard frames (the two on the right, below), because of their smaller size.

Prescription Range

Prescription range (if you need corrective lenses). All of our frames can handle most prescriptions, but for really thick prescriptions, you will need a flatter frame front to accept your lenses. (In order of flatness - S Rat II, Road Trip, Whistler, Standard)

Leash

Use of the leash is generally not necessary or recommended for kids under 14.

-Polarized (option with Rx) lenses cut down glare, or vertical light that reflects off flat surfaces such as water, wet roads, etc.
-100% UVA/UVB protection
-Polycarbonate lenses
-A rigid frame with minimal give helps keep frames on your head. Flexible frames fail in the surf / white water for the same reason that goggles fail - too much give lets them come off too easily.
-A non-elastic strap is required for the reasons listed above, and it avoids pressure headaches caused by elastic straps.
